Content Marketing - Google Style
Posted On วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 3 เมษายน พ.ศ. 2551 at by SodatoYou no longer have an excuse not to develop and market content. Google has solved the problem for you with its launch of Google Sites, which provides a simple way to make information accessible to people who need quick access to current data.
According to Google, "People can work together on a Site to add file attachments, information from other Google applications (like Google Docs, Google Calendar, YouTube and Picasa), and new free-form content. Creating a site together is as easy as editing a document, and you always control who has access, whether it's just yourself, your team, or your whole organization. You can even publish Sites to the world. The Google Sites web application is accessible from any internet connected computer."
That's all good but here's the best idea for using it: content marketing. If you are a non-technical person, you don't have a website, or you don't have control over the content on your website, Google Sites is for you. Here are the pros of this tool:
Single-click page creation.
No HTML required.
Make it your own with templates.
Upload files and attachments.
Even embed rich content.
Rapidly change or update files.

f you handle internal communications, this is a great way to market your employee-only content. For the PR professional, it's a great tool for setting up an online media room or for marketing white papers. Here's an example of a Google Sites' company intranet, a team project site, and a student club.
So, you no longer have to rely on your IT guys nor are you able to use them as an excuse.
